The mission of the CMC is to promote the abolition of landmines in Cambodia and to support self-independence of the survivors. Our wish is to help people in Cambodia overcome their dark history and get their lives back to normal. The CMC is mainly working on four categories: mine clearance operations, landmine victim assistance, school projects and a radio programme. In Japan, numbers of volunteer staff are contributing to sustaining our project in Cambodia through fundraising activities, charity events and so forth. As well as these activities, the CMC is working on an advocacy campaign to raise the awareness of the landmine problem at various companies and academic institutions.
